The following software is required prior to installing TAPIT NOVA:
  • Adobe PDF Reader
  • MS .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 (for XP Pro / 2003)
  • Windows PowerShell 1.0 (for XP Pro / 2003)
  • IIS( IIS 7 and higher requires IIS 6 compatibility enabled)
  • SQL Server Express (installed automatically from TAPIT NOVA DVD)
  • Your SMTP server configuration information MUST be available BEFORE you proceed with installation of Tapit NOVA
Minimum System Requirements:
A dedicated PC with:
  • Intel Core 2 Duo processor or AMD equivalent
  • 2 GB of RAM (3 GB for Win 7 / Win 2008)
  • Network Card
  • RS-232 port (if required for PBX interface)
  • 250 GB hard disk
  • minimum 80 GB free disk space on drive C:
  • MicrosoftTM Windows XP Pro SP3, Windows 7 Pro, 2003 (32-bit), 2008 R2
    (Win 2003 64-bit is not supported;
    Win 2003/2008 required for 10+ concurrent users)
  • MS Internet Explorer 7

Tapit NOVA DVD Image
The above download is a zip file containing full Tapit NOVA DVD image.
  1. Please save the zip file to a local drive on your hard drive (C:, D:, or E: , etc.) - not a mapped drive, or a network share.
  2. Save the downloaded file into a folder C:\TrisysDownloads (or a folder with similar name - no spaces or any other unusual characters (except '-' and '_') allowed in the folder name).
  3. Unzip and run StartupN.exe to install Tapit NOVA. Please view ReadMeFirst.pdf and TapitNOVAManual.pdf for installation prerequisites and instructions.
